Anna L. Raynor

Anna L. Raynor, 61, a lifelong resident of Dunkirk, NY, departed to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, Dec. 22, 2012.

As a licensed practical nurse, Anna was the primary caregiver to her beloved parents, Nicholas and Betty (Koepke) Andin and several other friends and family members.

Her hobbies included scrap booking, photography, plastic canvas and cooking her traditional ethnic foods to share with family and friends. She will be remembered most for her giving nature. Anna also loved to spend time with and travel with her family. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Raynor of Dunkirk and David Barnes of North Carolina; six grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Michael, Brandon and Tryston Reincke of Florida, Bryson Raynor and Gehrig and Wilhelm Barnes of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Nicholas C. (Beverly) Andin of Dunkirk and James M. Andin (Lisa) of Brocton; two sisters, Deborah Washington and Joanne (Danny) Stevens of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a beloved pet, Odie.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Reincke; and a brother, Clifford L. Andin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, at St. John the Baptist (Episcopal) Church, 14 West Fourth St., Dunkirk, NY at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist or Roswell Institute of Cancer Research, where she donated her body for cancer research.
