There's no rest for the weary.
While the area schools are still on winter break for roughly another week, there will be plenty of high school basketball to be played this weekend, starting today.
In boys action, Cassadaga Valley will host its annual holiday tournament. Oracle Charter (5-1) and undefeated Clymer square off in the tournament's first game before Westfield takes on the host Cougars.

Fredonia (4-2, 2-1) will take on Bennett for the second consecutive game in the opening round of the Clarence Tournament. The Hillbillies jumped out to a 21-9 first-quarter lead and cruised to a 62-42 win over Bennett this past Saturday.
The Gowanda Panthers travel to Springville to play in the Emerling Ford Holiday Tournament where they will take on South Park in the first round.
Dunkirk, meanwhile, will look to make some noise in the Frewsburg Tournament.
On the girls side, the action is highlighted by a pair of intriguing non-league contests as Pine Valley travels to take on Dunkirk this afternoon and Fredonia hosts Forestville tonight.
Lake Shore also plays an afternoon game as the Lady Eagles play host to Hutch Tech at noon today.
The Cassadaga Lady Cougars will try to advance in the Jamestown Community College Holiday Tournament, but will have to go through Ellicottville in round one.
