... Matthew J. Cenedella, of St. Petersburg, Fla., has been named the Women's Tennis Association's new chief operating officer. In his new role, Cenedella will support the WTA's chief executive and senior management by overseeing day-to-day operations, including employee development and internal affairs. Cenedella, who has served as the WTA's senior vice president of finance and chief administrative officer, will also manage their business plan for ongoing and future investments.

Cenedella is the son of Gerri Cenedella of Fredonia and the late Philip Cenedella. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1993 and lives in Florida with his wife Julia and their three daughters, Kanaley, Dorothy and Elizabeth. ...
