The Gowanda Boy Scouts Wolf Pack recently received a tour of the Gowanda Police Department. They walked through the reception area and learned about all of the technology police officers use. Next, a stop at booking where they were able to see where fingerprints and photographs are taken when people are arrested and what it's like in a jail cell. The final part of their visit was the upstairs training or classroom used for police officers to train, complete with desks, chairs and gym mats for the hands-on training. The boys also got to see some of the equipment that police officers use like handcuffs, pepper spray and bullet proof vests. Pictured is Gowanda Police Officer David Mueller giving the Boy Scouts Wolf Pack a tour of the Gowanda Police Department. He also gave the boys Junior Police Officer badges.
