Alvera L. Gugino, 91, formerly of Silver Creek, died January 5, 2013 in Tampa, FL. Born in Mead-ville, PA, she worked for the Crawford County (Pa.) Courthouse, the St Columban's Seminary in Silver Creek; and the Silver Creek High School for many years before moving to Florida. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, ceramics, and volunteer work. She served as the secretary for the Ex-POW Hudson (FL) chapter.
Family includes son Timothy (Susan), daughter Elaine, three grandchildren, and a great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, two sisters, and five brothers. Burial will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
