JAMESTOWN - Brocton bowled itself to the CCAA Division 2 boys title Saturday afternoon at Jamestown Bowling Company, finishing 41-11 on the season.
The Bulldogs beat Silver Creek 4-0 behind a linescore of 840-796-919-2,555. The Black Knights finished at 816-747-911-2,474.
Leading Brocton were Steven Krystofiak (208-576), Andy Morello (202-210-548), John Nickerson (541) and Kory Crandall (202).
For Silver Creek (36-14), Tim Manning rolled a 220-560 while Carl Catroneo added a 218.
In other matches, Forestville, which finished second at 39.5-12.5, defeated Randolph (26-26), 4-0, with its linescore of 853-827-957-2,637.
Leading the Hornets was Brad Dillenburg (200-228-609). Also for Forestville, John Murphy chipped in a 204-215-595, Ryan Forbes had a 203-534 and Phil Narraway had a 500.
For Randolph, Skyler Schapp had a 212-550 and Marcus Miller had a 505.
In the girls position round, Forestville fell to Silver Creek, 3-1, but still managed to come away with the top spot in CCAA Division 2, finishing at 28-6.
The Black Knights outpinned the Lady Hornets, 617-575-606-1,798 to 578-547-665-1,790, and were led by Liz Golubski's 200-550 and Tessa Gibbon's 448.
For the Lady Hornets, Emily Dillenburg charted a 235-535 and Sam Nosbisch chipped in a 474.
Elsewhere, Chautauqua Lake (5-39) fell to Clymer (9-35), 4-0, by a linescore of 470-460-544-1474 to 453-454-471-1,380.
Heather Sullivan led the Lady Thunderbirds with a 469 while Emily Paulus chipped in a 340.
