Doris L. "Dorie" Mead, 52, of Christy Road, Fredonia, died unexpectedly, Sunday, January 20, 2013, at her residence.
She was born in Silver Creek on June 16, 1960, the daughter of Robert Frontuto of Forestville and the late Frances (Clark) Frontuto.
Ms. Mead attended Forestville Central School. She worked at The Home Depot in Dunkirk for 8 years and at one time had worked for Wal-Mart in Fredonia. She enjoyed reading.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Nathaniel) Rogers of Hurley, NY; a brother, Brian (Mary) Frontuto of Gowanda; and a grand-daughter, Emily Rogers.
Besides her mother, she was predeceased by 2 brothers, Joseph D. and Robert W. Frontuto.
