Megan Wimsatt and Michael DiRusso were united in marriage on Oct. 13, 2012, at the Mandalay Bay chapel in Las Vegas, Nev. The bride is the daughter of Mark and Coleen Wimsatt of Rockville, Md. The groom is the son of Mark and Carol DiRusso of Bristow, Va., and Lauren Schwerk of Fredonia.
Serving as matron of honor was Katie Vega of Fredericksburg, Va. Bridesmaids were Ariel Sims of Denver, Colo., Jackie Gold of Baltimore, Md., and Kristin McMahon of Stevensville, Md.
Serving as best man was the groom's brother, Joseph DiRusso of Baltimore. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Matt Schwerk of Fredonia, and cousins Scott and Jason Leone of Baltimore.

A reception immediately followed at Mandalay Bay Casino and Resort in Las Vegas and soon after at Dalesio's of Little Italy in Baltimore. A reception will also be held in Fredonia in June.
The bride is a graduate of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Md. She is employed as a radiology technologist for Washington Adventist Hospital in Washington, D.C., and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore.
The groom is a graduate of Fredonia High School and the Baltimore City Fire Academy. He is employed as a career firefighter for the City of Baltimore.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii and reside in Baltimore City, Md.
