NCCS celebrates Catholic Schools Week

It's Catholic Schools Week at Northern Chautauqua Catholic School in Dunkirk, with the mission statement, "Catholic Schools Raise the Standards!"

Among the scheduled festivities to celebrate Catholic Schools Week at NCCS are the following -

Today: National Mass Day: Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church with St. Joseph's School at 10 a.m. All are invited to attend.

Thursday: Bible Camp: Pre-K through Grade 4 and Grade 5 through 8.

Friday: Purple and Gold Day.

On Feb. 21, Bishop Richard Malone will celebrate Mass with the children of NCCS at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Mass will be followed by a reception.

Women's Day registration has reached capacity

According to event organizers, the response has been great for the Women's Day at St. Joseph Church in Fredonia, to be held on Saturday. Registration is now closed, and there is a waiting list. If anyone who has registered will not be able to attend, call Judy Bradley at 672-2647, so that the spot may be filled.
