SINCLAIRVILLE - The Sinclairville 76ers recently received a birthday gift from members of the community - thanks to a very charitable celebrant.
Kari Gustafson, the granddaughter of 76ers social worker Patti France, celebrated her 16th birthday. In planning for her birthday party, Gustafson sent a note in all invitations saying that monetary gifts would be welcomed and would be donated to the 76ers Meals on Wheels. Gustafson was inspired by her grandmother, who very much believes in the Meals on Wheels outreach program. At the birthday party, $180 was donated to the 76ers, and recently was presented to some of the personnel at the luncheon site.
The Sinclairville 76ers is the Meals on Wheels program for the Cassadaga Valley area, designed to provide hot meals to many through delivery or to those who can attend meals at the Sinclairville Firehall dining room. The program is very worthwhile as an outreach to those in need. Meals are prepared in the Sinclairville dining room, and delivered by many volunteers. The 76ers is a part of the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging.
