Carolyn Velma Wright, (Erwin) 92, of Fredonia, NY passed away Friday 1, 2013. She was born in Cherry Creek, N.Y. on September
28, 1920, the daughter of Floyd and Ester Erwin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Thomas J. Wright, Jr.,
whom she married in March of 1941. Besides her husband and parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald

and Richard Erwin. Carolyn retired from Fredonia Central School after many years of service. In her younger years, Carolyn
loved camping with her family and friends. She was an avid pinochle player and enjoyed her card club, "The Flexible Five" for many
years. She loved chocolate and baking cookies with her granddaughters, assuring they were decorated just right! She is survived by 2
sons: Chester (Patricia) Wright of Newport News, VI., and James (Paulette) Wright of Fredonia, N.Y.; Grandchildren: Kathleen
(Del) Hundley of Newport News, VI., Brenda (Chad) Brant of Hagerstown, MD., James (Debra) Wright of Westfield, N.Y., Stacy
(Ralph) Wright-Greenberg of Margaretville, N.Y., Shannon (Kevin) Wright-Gross of Newport News, VI., and Chester Wright II (Crystal) of Richmond, VI. Also survived by Great-Grandchilden: Ashleigh, Dominic, Chester III, Caiden, Karlie, Jamie, Jada, Nicholas, and Addis-
