OBSERVER Staff Report , The OBSERVER

Two men were temporarily trapped in a vehicle that overturned early Thursday morning in the village of Fredonia. Both escaped without injury.

At 2 a.m. Fredonia Police responded to a rollover accident on East Main Street, a quarter mile west of Route 60. According to police, Jeremy R. Dolce, 29, of Tampa, Fla., was driving an SUV with oversized tires east when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed over the middle turning lane into the westbound driving lane. Dolce allegedly overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll over and slide approximately 100 feet on its roof.

Dolce and a passenger, Nathaniel Organ, 28, of Dunkirk, were trapped inside the vehicle for a short time. Both were checked out at the scene but refused medical treatment. The vehicle was towed. As a result of the accident, Dolce was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 or more. He was released on his own recognizance to appear in court at a later date.
