PORTLAND - A major fire this morning has been extinguished in the town off Route 20.
According to WDOE, the blaze at the home at 8757 Pecor St. began early this morning with 10 fire companies called to the scene. The two-story brick home was "fully involved" once firefighters arrived.
The occupant of the home was not injured and no other injuries were reported.
