Nancy Lee Wolfe, formerly of Dunkirk, NY, died Saturday, February 9, 2013 in Wellford, South Carolina.
She was 72 years of age, born in Brocton, NY on March 1, 1940, the daughter of the late Bernard and Mattie (Peterson) Bernstein. A resident of Dunkirk for most of her life, Nancy had resided in Wellford for the past 3 years. A graduate of Dunkirk High School, she was employed at the Basket Factory, M. Wile, as a lunch lady at the Dunkirk Public Schools and as a home health care aide.
Surviving are her sons, Dennis (Michele) Skrok of Wellford, South Carolina and David (Ginger) Bernstein of Houston, Texas and her sisters, Patricia (Howard) Gloss of Fredonia and Betty (Richard) Kern of Dunkirk, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Wolfe who died in 2008, her son, Michael Skrok who died in 2005, her sister, Jane Fuller and three brothers, Robert, Garfield and Harry Bernstein.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. from the Newman Funeral Home, Inc. The Rev. Dennis Riter will officiate. Interment will follow in the Willowbrook Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
