Sunday at about 3:30 p.m., Dunkirk firefighters, police and Alstar ambulance reported to 13 Lake Shore Drive West in Dunkirk for a structure fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a 61-year-old resident with severe burns on the upper body.
A relative reported the victim's clothes ignited while cooking.

The fire was out on arrival.
The unidentified victim was treated at the scene and transported by Mercyflight to ECMC.
