Fredonia man arrested after narcotics probe

A Fredonia man has been arrested following a narcotics investigation in the village. Justin D. Black, 22, of Brigham Road was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana Wednesday morning following a joint investigation.

According to Fredonia Police, Black had been allegedly receiving large quantities of marijuana through the U.S. Mail and distributing the marijuana throughout the Fredonia area.

Police executed the delivery of a package intended for Black with assistance of the U.S. Postal Service and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. A search warrant was executed for Black's residence. Black was held pending arraignment.
