DERBY - The Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual President's Dinner on March 9 at 6 p.m. at the American Legion on Route 5 in Derby.
President Michelle Parker announced the following awards will be given at the annual dinner:
Citizen of the Year: Pastor Donald Loos of St. John's Lutheran Church
Large Business honor: ACA Property Preservation
Small Business award: Angola Pennysaver
Not-for-Profit: Evans Art Guild, celebrating its 40th anniversary
Project of the Year: Evans Center Fire Hall - for 2012 capital improvements
Community Outreach - General - Samaritan Counseling
Community Outreach - Education: The Freshman Academy at Lake Shore Senior High School
Emerging Businesses: Empire Realty Services Group; Hands-On Chiropractic Care; Can Counter; and Nu-2-Me Consignment Shop.
The Master of Ceremonies for the dinner will be Lake Shore Senior High English teacher Jeff Connors. There will be a buffet dinner catered by Chamber member Vincent Cala, with cash bar. Tickets are $35 per person. Mail your check to the Chamber at 70 N. Main St., Angola 14006. Deadline: March 2.
