The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office has recovered stolen property and cannot locate an owner. It is likely from a burglary or stolen from a motor vehicle in Northern Chautauqua County, probably between Brocton and Fredonia. The item could also be stolen from any other area throughout the county. It is a green Balscope Ten 10 Power spotting scope with a brown case. Anyone missing a similar item or who knows a possible owner is encouraged to contact Investigator Doug Walter at 753-4232.
