The Fredonia Baptist Christian Nursery School will be hosting its annual open house on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The school is located within the Educational Wing of the church located on the corner of Temple and Church streets in Fredonia. This semester begins the 48th consecutive year of operation.
The preschool serves the surrounding communities with programs geared to 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds with age-appropriate activities. Monthly themes are selected to include Language Arts, Math, Science, Music and Crafts.
Open house gives parents an opportunity to enroll their child for the fall semester. First time students must have reached their third birthday by Dec. 1. Parents must bring a copy of the child's immunization record from the pediatrician opening day in September, along with a notice of allergies and physical limitations.
Parents may bring siblings as they enroll returning or first time students. Teachers Karen Tramuta and Jane Wright will be present to explain curriculum and programs.
If unable to attend open house, call the church office and talk to co-director Alex Brandt or co-director Genevieve Ludemann at 672-4771 to have an application for enrollment mailed.
