Suhr sets World Record

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M - Fredonia native Jenn Suhr can now add a new accomplishment to her already impressive pole vault resume.

World Record Holder.

Suhr cleared 16-feet-5 inches Saturday at the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships to claim the record.

Fredonia native Jenn?Suhr became the world record holder in the pole vault Saturday at the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

The original record was 16-5 set by Russia's Yelena Isinbayeva on Feb. 23, 2012.

Suhr also held the American record at 16-0.

Second place went to Kylie Hudson, who cleared 15-7 while third place went to Lancaster native Mary Saxer at 15-1.
