Another Buffalo man busted in city

March 6, 2013
The OBSERVER

The alleged sale of crack cocaine in the city of Dunkirk has led to the arrest of Steven D. Douglas, 25, of Buffalo.

Douglas was located and picked up by Dunkirk police Monday after a secret Chautuaqua County grand jury had issued a warrant of arrest for Douglas. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.

The warrant was issued based on information from the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. It is alleged that Douglas sold quantities of crack cocaine to STRDTF agents on numerous occasions in the city. Douglas is being held in the county jail pending arraignment in county court.

As a result of information obtained, additional arrests are anticipated and the investigation is continuing.

Douglas is the third Buffalo man arrested in the last week for selling crack cocaine in the city.
