Woman in fatal DWI accident pleads guilty

BUFFALO - The suspect in a fatal driving while intoxicated crash last November that left an infant girl dead in the town of Brant pleaded guilty Wednesday.

Danielle Kellogg, 24, pleaded guilty to first-degree vehicular manslaughter, in an Erie County courtroom according to Buffalo media outlets.

Kellogg was driving drunk on Route 20 in the town of Brant when her vehicle collided with another vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle, Denise Hine, 31, of Hamburg was seriously injured when her car split in to two. Her 7-month-old daughter, Baylee Dion was killed as a result of the accident.

Kellogg will return to court in May where she faces a maximum sentence of 15 years.
