North Collins Elementary School PTA hosted a Free Family Craft Night on Feb. 1 in the school’s cafeteria. The crafts focused on a Valentine theme and the event drew about 50 people including students, parents and grandparents. The crafters had five stations of activities including bookmark making, heart butterfly making, valentine card station, form heart decorating and bear magnetic designing. A big thank you to Monica Shultz and Jill Niefergold, the event coordinators, and their craft station helpers. The participants were also treated to healthy snacks of yogurt, apples and bottled water. The event was made possible through an electronic recycling program. Visit the website at www.northcollins.com>community>PTA electronic recycling for more information on the program.
