Jean Locker Opacinch, 91, of Jacksonville, FL., formerly of Dunkirk, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, February 25, 2013.
She was born in Dunkirk on February 18, 1922, the daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline Locker. She was predeceased by her husband, Julian A. Opa-cinch, and an infant son, Michael.
She is survived by her siblings: Robert (Marge) Locker, John (Wilma) Locker and Paula Hart; her children: Julian (Patti) Opacinch, Rae Ann (James) Kelley, Jean (James) Hughes and John Opacinch; her grandchildren: Todd (Janet) Opacinch, Aimee (Mike) Lucas, Justin Hughes, James Kelley, Ashley (Nick) DuBois and Brittany Opacinch; and her great-grandchildren: Maddie Opacinch, Jacob, Libby and Calli Lucas and Emma Jean DuBois.

Jean worked for many years in the office at Sidey's Department Store. She was an avid "Rummy" and Solitaire card player. She also loved making puzzles, reading books and doing crosswords. She en-joyed spending tie with her family and friends.
She spent many summers at the family cabin, and her winters in Sebastian, FL.
A memorial service will be held during the summer at the convenience of the family.
