LILY DALE Green is definitely in at the Lily Dale Volunteer Fire Hall where a St. Patrick's Day Brunch offering many raffle awards including medium readings - and a full buffet menu topped off with corned beef and cabbage is on the agenda.
The brunch, scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, at the fire hall on East Street, is sponsored by the Lily Dale Fire Co. Auxiliary as a benefit for the local fire company.
"We are hoping for a big turnout, and with the auxiliary's increased membership, we are looking forward to supporting our fire company with other such activities in the near future,'' said Joanne Nigro, who is coordinating the fundraiser.
The Lily Dale Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary is getting a head start on the new spring/summer season with a St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser for local firefighters. Among auxiliary members involved are Hope Harvey, Dot McCarthy, Connie Dutcher, Susan Barnes, Liz Cox, Joanne Nigro, Ellen Morse and Karen Loomis.
The event also offers a number of raffle awards, including theme baskets and a 50/50 as well as a silent auction. Lily Dale's guitarist/singer, Jessie Furst, will entertain. Brunch tickets at the door are $5.
