James W. Cybulski, 71, of Dunkirk died Saturday morning (March 30, 2013) at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. He was loved and will be dearly missed by family and friends. He was born Aug. 16, 1941 in Dunkirk, the son of the late William and Marian (Mancuso) Cybulski.
Mr. Cybulski was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving from 1959-1963. A lifelong Dunkirk resident, he had been employed as a foreman at True Temper Corporation in Dunkirk. He was recently retired from the Federal Census Bureau. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Frank Acquavia Memorial Post 1344 American Legion, the Kosciuszko Polish Home and Hose 4 Company. Survivors include his wife, Christine (Hagen) Cybulski whom he married on May 28, 1983; two daughters, Amy Cybulski of Kenmore and SPC Bethany Cybulski currently sta-tioned at Fort Riley, Kansas; one sister, Miriam "Cis" Speziale of Pittsburgh, Pa; special cousins Harry Begier and Casiminia DeMarco; nephews Chad Speziale, Lance Speziale, and Daniel Hagen; niece Erica Hagen; and daughter-in-law Jen-nifer Frangos.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William E. Cybulski; and infant daughter, Mary Louise Cybulski. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:15 from the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o'clock in Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Cal-ling hours will be held Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Murray Hose Company No. 4 will be meeting at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock.
