Blessed Mary Angela Rosary Society
Blessed Mary Angela Rosary Society met at St. Hyacinth's Lyceum on Monday, April 8.
The pastor, Father Matthew Nycz, welcomed all and mentioned activities to be held at the parish.
President Martha Bialaszewski and officers led the members in the recitation of the Rosary and a prayer for ill and deceased members.
Stella Michalak read the opening prayer for the meeting.
Secretary Carole Schiller gave the minutes from the March meeting and Treasurer Lucille Bartkowski gave the financial report. Both were accepted by all present.
The April birthday was celebrated for Phyllis Mucha.
Wanda Graminski won the attendance prize.
Schiller collected May ticket raffle money. Returns may also be made Monday, April 29 at 6 p.m. in the Lyceum and Tuesday, April 30 at 6 p.m. in the Social Center.
Members were reminded of Bible Study on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings. The Anniversary of the Beatification of Blessed Mary Angela and witness by Sr. Raymond Krauza will take place on April 18. St. Peregrine Mass with the Anointing of the Sick will take place at 7 p.m. on April 19 at St. Hyacinth Church.
Parish Ministries will hold an open house on April 20 at 5 p.m. at the Lyceum and on April 21 at noon at the Social Center.
The closing prayer was read by Joan Zielinski.
Refreshments were served by Phyllis Mucha, Dorothy Kornacki, Alvina Monahan and Marilyn Nalepa.
A social hour followed the meeting with a raffle and Bingo called by Sandra Tapasto.
The next meeting will be May 6 at St. Hedwig's Social Center.
