ELLERY - A two-car accident led to charges and an injury Monday. Deputies were called to an accident on Route 380 near the Sinclair Drive Extension. It is alleged Jeremy Ranney, 34, of Stockton, was turning left onto Sinclair Drive Extension when Holly Roman, 40, of Brocton, attempted to pass him. Ranney was charged with use of a cell phone and uninspected motor vehicle. Roman was charged with passing in a no passing zone. Roman was also transported to WCA Hospital by Sin-clairville Ambulance for in-juries as a result of the accident. Both were issued tickets.
JAMESTOWN - Joshua Crist, 32, of Jamestown, was charged April 9 with petit larceny after he allegedly used the public benefit card of another individual on Oct. 11, 2011 and received $89.93 he was not entitled to. Crist is scheduled to appear in Jamestown Court.
