Poloncarz appoints new commissioner of senior services

BUFFALO - Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz Friday named Randall Hoak as the new Commissioner of Senior Services in Erie County. Hoak, who had been serving as Interim Commissioner prior to his appointment, has also served as the Supervisor of Program Development and Evaluation in the department. He has additional work experience in the aging field in the Town of Hamburg, working as a Program Coordinator at Hamburg Adult Day Services and as Recreation Supervisor of Senior Services for the Town. Hoak has also served as Director of Recreation for the Erie County Medical Center Corporation at the Erie County Home.
