Sadly, John Dickenson passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the age of 68.
John was a lifelong resident of Dunkirk and Fredonia. He was affectionately known around town for his love of music, drumming over 1000 'gigs' with various bands throughout the last 50 years. He was also an avid collector of all things frogs.
He served our country in the USAF during the Vietnam era, and received an honorable discharge. He has been employed as a Landman for the past 35 years, with various oil and gas exploration companies.
John was predeceased by both parents, George Dickenson and Marie Rusbuldt; his Sister Suzanne and brother Gerald. He is survived by his daughter Jayde, brothers Michael, George and Chris.
Friends are welcomed at Fantauzzi Funeral Home, on Friday April 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a service scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
