Jim McElrath, executive director for Family Service of the Chautauqua Region, Inc. announces the promotion of David Steward as director of finance and human services.
Stewart has been employed by Family Service since January 2007 as financial manager where he continually proved to be instrumental in the development of the agencies fiscal stability. He has earned the respect of staff and board members with his knowledge of not for profit agencies and professionalism.
Stewart began his new role as director of finance and human services on April 1 and is looking forward to new challenges and opportunities.
Before joining the team at Family Service, Stewart was the administrator for the Warner Home for over five years.
Stewart is an avid Buffalo Bills and Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoys the outdoors, wild life, golfing and spending time on Chautauqua Lake.
Stewart resides in Ashville with his wife, Colleen, and their dog, Baylee.
