Immaculata Academy art students help feed WNY

HAMBURG - When the opportunity arose for Art Teacher Veronica Benes to have students create art that would also benefit the good of the community, her students immediately went to the drawing board. The Empty Bowls Program held by Buffalo State College encourages local artists, college students, and school children to craft bowls that address the social concern of hunger. The bowls symbolize the empty bowls around the world.
