Memorials for unborn innocents, represented by 144 crosses, are once again being placed in front of eight parishes throughout northern Chautauqua County, from Friday, May 10 to Monday, May 20.
Among these churches is St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pictured. The 144 crosses represent the approximate number of abortions in the United Sates every hour of every day. The suffering from this repeated tragedy, not limited to children, asks for prayer for relief. They are a reminder to pray for the end of abortion, to respect motherhood and to respect childhood. The Pro-life Committee of Chautauqua County asks for the community's support of its activities to continue to promote the respect for life, from conception to natural death.
These crosses will be on display throughout northern Chautauqua County through May 20.
