PORTLAND - The cause of a Friday morning fire in Portland has yet to be determined.
Portland Fire Chief Steve Bourgeois said firefighters were toned out around 1:30 a.m. to the two-family home on Route 20.
"The front of the house was fully involved when we arrived," he said.

Firefighters battled a blaze on Route 20 in Portland around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
He said neither family was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
Although firefighters tried to contain the flames to the front of the house, the roof collapsed, making Bourgeois call the structure a "total loss."
He said the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Fire Investigation Team have not yet released a cause of the fire. The Red Cross was called to assist the families.
Brocton, Westfield, Stockton, Mayville and Fredonia fire departments and the Chautauqua County FAST Team also responded.
