WESTFIELD - The No. 3 Westfield Wolverines jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in knocking off No. 14 Holland, 13-2, Monday in Section 6 Class C prequarterfinal high school baseball action.
The Wolverines scored at least two runs in the first three innings.
"We were really talking about that before the game," Westfield coach Doug Kaltenbach said. "We wanted to stay in the moment and play one inning at a time and get something going early."
