Miley A. Gilbert Jr., 51, formerly of Ripley, NY, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Hospice Brazos InPatient Valley in Bryan, Texas. He was born
May 8, 1962 in Westfield, NY, son of the late Miley A. Gilbert Sr. and Lenora J. Gilbert Mulson. Miley attended Ripley Central School and obtained a GED diploma. He was formerly an ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic and enjoyed dirt track stock car racing. He moved to Texas in 1988 where he met his
wife Suzanne, and married her May 8, 2013 after a 25-year engagement and two children. Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Echols Gilbert of Hempstead, Texas; a daughter, Mildred L. Gilbert and a son, Miley A. Gilbert III (Alyssa), all of Hempstead; and three sisters, Debora A. Delcamp

family members and lots of friends also survive. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lovis G. Gilbert Sr. and Ruth E. Miller Gilbert; and his maternal grandparents, Lester M. Horton and Dorothy H. Tucker Horton. Services are being held at the First Baptist Church in
