State Police at Fredonia have released more information about Monday's motorcycle-car crash on Route 60 near the Cassadaga Shurfine.
A motorcycle operated by Doug Goodwill, 49, of Sinclairville was following a car that was uninvolved in the accident north on Route 60. The car turned right into the Shurfine store. The motorcycle passed the car. A car driven by Adam Walsh, 29, of Cassadaga was turning out of the Shurfine and struck the motorcycle. Goodwill and his passenger on the motorcycle, Cassandra Goodwill, were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Walsh and his passenger Jeffrey Birath declined treatment. Walsh was ticketed for failing to yield.
The car sustained damage on the door on the driver's side. The motorcycle was loaded on a trailer by Cassadaga firemen and removed from the scene.
According to Tim Cobb, Jr. First Assistant Fire Chief for the Cassadaga Fire Department, the first on the scene were the New York State Police from Fredonia. Cassadaga Fire Department as well as Alstar transported those injured from the scene. The Fredonia Fire Department also reported to the accident site.
