Hailey's Honeys raised $10,825 for the Arthritis Foundation at its fundraiser held Sunday at the Dun-kirk Exempt Fireman's Association, 203 Central Ave., Dunkirk.
Hailey Near's mother, Michelle Ossman, was thankful for the outpouring of support for the event.
She said, "I want to thank all the businesses, organizations, and people who donated and also the people who came out for this. Without everyone's help, this wouldn't be possible."

The group's goal is to raise $13,000.
Tracy Ossman, Hailey's grandmother, explained that this year the Lake Shore Street Rod Association will be donating part of the proceeds from their annual harbor cruise to the Arthritis Foundation. The cruise will be held at Point Gratiot this Sunday afternoon.
Tracy also expressed her appreciation to the community.
She said, "People this year called me about the event. There was very little solicitation. People are aware of us now. Even though times are tough, when it comes to kids especially people are generous. We are going to continue until we find a cure and we will."
Anyone who wants to donate can write a check to the Arthritis Foun-dation and mail it to Hailey's Honeys, 206 Lord St., Dunkirk, N.Y. 14048.
Hailey and Hailey's Honeys will be at the harbor cruise and invite the public to come see them there.
