SINCLAIRVILLE - Sinclairville Free Library's Summer Reading Program will meet each Thursday from July 11 to Aug. 8 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children from Pre-K through Grade 6 are invited to join the fun. Each participating child will receive a free book at the end of the program courtesy of donations from NYSCOPBA at Lakeview and the Ross Grange.
Youth in grades 7 through 9 are invited to join the library's Teen Summer Reading Program, "Beneath the Surface" on Mondays from July 8 to Aug. 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. Activities will include a scavenger hunt and "book spine poetry," with a look beneath the water during Shark Week and explorations behind the scenes of the library and underneath the earth. Join this program with food and fun for teens.
Adults and youth ages 14 and older are invited to join the library's Adult Summer Reading Program, "Unearth Hidden Talents," on Mondays through Aug. 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. Book discussions, games, demonstrations of talents, food and prizes are some of the fun activities planned. Come to find hidden talents among community members and discover new ones.
Children registering for the Sinclairville Free Library’s Summer Reading Program had fun getting ready to “Dig into Reading.” They made mini “dirt” cakes with gummy worms, planted sunflower seeds, made clothespin caterpillars and dug for treasure.
