GOWANDA - Mary Lou Hubbard, 72, a resident of Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gowanda and a lifelong resident of Cottage, NY, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at her residence, following an extended illness.
She was born in Salamanca on April 8, 1941, the daughter of the late Emery J. and Marion L. (Bromley) Bartholomew.
Mrs. Hubbard was a member of Cottage United Methodist Church and the Forestville Chapter #247 Order of Eastern Star. She loved ceramics and motorcycle riding.
Survivors include her husband, Donald F. Hubbard, of South Dayton, whom she married December 20, 1957 in Gowanda; two sons, Brian (Sally) Hubbard of North Collins, Marty (Tammy) Hubbard of East Bernstadt, KY; and three brothers, Raymond (Linda) Bartholomew of Gowanda, Dave (Barb) Bartholomew of West Seneca and Bruce (Jennie) Bartholomew of Gowanda. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Sun-day from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m., from where Funeral Ser-vices will be held Monday morning at 11 o'clock, with Rev. Carol Dill, pastor of Cottage United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Cottage Cemetery.
An Eastern Star Service will be conducted by members of Forestville Chapter #247 Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
