Glen Gary Quackenbush, 64, formerly of Fredonia, died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at his home in Nampa, Idaho after a lengthy illness.
He was born Oct. 10, 1948 in Silver Creek to Harlen and the late Wilma (Robinson) Quackenbush.
Glen graduated from Fredonia High School and entered the U.S. Air Force on May 19, 1967, where he worked on Air Force One and retired in March 1989 after 20 years of service. He was employed with SCP Global Technologies and later retired from Motive Power in April 2011.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Janice (Hoobing) Quackenbush; daughter Jennifer (Matthew) Fincham and grandson Owen of Beale-ton, Va.; two sisters, Roxanne Fisk of Fredonia and Brenda (Paul) Hannold of Portland, NY; one brother, Dean (Saragrace) Quackenbush of Buckeye, Ariz; two stepsons, Todd Lanning and Billy Tucker of Idaho; and several nieces, nephews & lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and two sisters, Debra Hazelton and Becky Kent.
