Leading golfer for The Women Who Golf For Fun was Denise Kaus. Tied for second place was Pat Kaus and Bobbie Deering and in third place was Sandi Gloss. Cheryl Gawronski was golfer of the week.
The 2013 Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament was held recently at Tri-County Country Club. Pictured are the overall winners of the tournament. They are, from left to right, Carol McEntarfer, Amy North, Jodi Johnson and Terri Rosier. Flight 1 winners were Brenda Clarke, Diane Zwitch, Janice Young and Julie Czubinski. They were followed by Jane Fisher, Jeanette Pchelka, Louella Muscarella and Gayle Stafford. The quartet of Carol Luczak, Anna Geidel, Ronnie Bluman and Kathy Clendening. Flight 2 was won by Laurie Fort, Jessica Fort, Heather Williams and Rita Wolfe. Edna Smith, Wilma Perryman, Rosemary Mancuso and Judy Waterman took second while Sallie Locke, June McDonnell, Sandra Drozdowski and Suzanne Newman finished third.
A luncheon at the White Village was held after golf. The women will golf again next Wednesday at 10 a.m. Any and all women golfers are welcomed to join them.

The Girls 4 Golf Tuesday League met at Sugar Hill Golf Course. After a short rain delay and Sue Johnson leading the group in a verse of "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow," they were able to finish all nine holes. Low gross was won by Nancy Phillips with a 52 followed by Vicki Westling with a 54, Judith Waterman with a 55 and Linda Prince with a 56. Low net went to Debbie Yerico with a 35 followed by Linda Prince with a 36 and Sue Gotowka with a 37. The prize for the evening was fewest putts and that was won by Nancy Phillips with a 15. Following golf, the league enjoyed dinner at Nickel Plate in Brocton.
Wednesday Morning Ladies Purple Posse League - The Purple Posse League game was not in order. First place: Grace Miller, Linda DeJoe and Audrey Parker. Second place: Viki Clark, Barb VanDette and Marie Aniszewski. Third place: Nance Ortolano and Paulette Barreca. The greenback prize went to Viki Clark.
