STOCKTON - A 32-year-old Hamburg resident was flown to an Erie County hospital after a rollover accident this afternoon in the town of Stockton.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, around 2:10 p.m., a 34-year-old Hamburg man was pulling a camper trailer with his 1994 Chevy pickup truck on Hartfield-Stockton Road when the trailer started swaying while going down a hill. The driver, whose name was only given as Elliott, lost control of his vehicle and struck an earth embankment. The vehicle came to rest after rolling over.
Elliott's passenger, whose name was only given as Andrezejewski, was flown by Starflight for non-life threatening injuries.
The Stockton and Cassadaga fire departments also assisted on the scene. No other information was given.
