Nickel City Pimp Choir will play the pier tonight
Straight out of Buffalo, the Nickel City Pimp Choir returns to Dunkirk for another performance at the Music on the Pier series at 6:30 p.m. today.
Sponsored by the Clarion Hotel, These "mack daddies" pay homage to the R&B legends of the '60s and '70s. These "funkmasters" bring the beat of R&B and soul classics of Al Green, James Brown, Otis Redding and the Blues Brothers. So if you're hip to the street jive, come on down to the Pier.
Food will be available, as well as a beer and wine tent. Dunkirk Festival T-shirts will be available for purchase at the Welcome Tent.
This festival, like all City of Dunkirk Festivals, is offered to the public free of charge thanks to the generous support of our corporate partners, Advanced Production Group, Dunkirk Chamber of Commerce, Coors Light, NRG Energy, Cott Beverages, DFT Communications, and National Grid.
Additional details on this or any other festival can be found at www.visitdunkirk.com, or on Facebook, Dunkirk Festivals. Or visit www.nickelcityppimpchoir.com for more info on the Nickel City Pimp Choir.
