Francisco Pagan Jaime, 82, of Dunkirk, died Sun- day, Aug. 18, 2013, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.
He was born Oct. 17, 1930, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, son of the late Francisco and Josephina (Gautier) Pagan.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Francisco served during the Korean War and received the National Defense Medal.

He was a farm worker and handyman for many years.
Francisco enjoyed sports, including boxing, the NY Yankees, Miami Dolphins and playing dominoes.
Surviving are his companion, Lydia Allende of Dunkirk; children Nelson Pagan of Georgia, Francisco Pagan of Puerto Rico, Carmen (Saul) Pagan Marti of Hartford, CT, and U.S. Army Sgt. Frankie (Anal) Pagan of Williamsburg, VA; his stepdaughter Lourdes (Theodore) Culver; sister Julia Pagan of Hoboken, NJ; brother Miguel Ramos Jaime of Paterson, NJ; eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Pablo, Rafeal and Luis Pagan; and sisters Josephina and Mariam Pagan.
No visitation will be ob- served and private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
