The Jamestown Teachers' Association Mets defeated Dunkirk's Stericycle A's by a score of 1-0 to win the 2013 Chautauqua County Men's Senior Baseball League championship. Ricky Carlson dominated on the mound to pick up the win. Carlson struck out 10 and gave up only two hits in a seven inning complete game effort. Carlson also shut down the A's on the bases by picking two runners off at first base early in the game. Jay Grann drove in Carlson in the bottom of the fourth inning for the game's lone run after Carlson led off the inning with a double down the third base line. Mike Korzienewski pitched a solid game for the A's in a losing effort. Korzienewski gave up four hits in seven innings of work while striking out seven. Doug Clark provided the offense for the A's by doubling off the left center field fence in the second inning, but was eventually stranded at third.
