Jamestown swept Dunkirk (0-2), 5-0, Wednesday during CCAA West girls tennis action.
Chloe Knapp dropped Dunkirk's Crystal Muller, 6-0, 6-1 in first singles while Abby Whisner defeated Ally Clement in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. In third singles, Jamestown's Kim Lindquist upended Dunkirk's CC Chase, 6-0, 6-0, to give the match to the Lady Red Raiders.
"We had a lot of first-time players out there (Wednesday)," Dunkirk tennis coach Greg Catalano said. "It was CC's first singles match and all of the doubles players too."

Fredonia’s Georgianna Gens returns a volley during Wednesday’s CCAA?West girls high school tennis match against Southwestern.
In first doubles, Ellie Blixt and Olivia Valone won 6-1, 6-2, over Dunkirk's Sydney Wiant and Jessica Miller while the team of Jenna Valone and Samantha Melice defeated the Lady Marauders' tandem of Shauna Barberich and Hanna Smith-Wilson.
Southwestern 4, Fredonia 1
JAMESTOWN - The Southwestern Lady Trojans began the girls' tennis season by easing past Fredonia, 4-1, in the CCAA West on Wednesday.
The Lady Trojans got wins from second singles Morgan Johnson and third singles Elizabeth Rowan, plus wins from first doubles Victoria Van Every and Mikayla Johnson and second doubles Leigh Yartz and Daisie Bancroft.
Fredonia's lone win came in first singles as Georgianna Gens took care of Heidi Mueller, 6-1, 6-1.
