The Fredonia Lady Hillbillies (3-1) received six goals from six different players in a 6-0 blanking of Southwestern on Thursday in CCAA West League girls high school soccer.
"To me, that's team work," Fredonia coach Cathy Cruver said. "That's a sign of absolute teamwork. The girls are coming together and they understand the concept of team. They are working very well together."

Devin Kowalewski, Morgan Genovese, Emily Valvo and Brigitte Boettcher each scored first-half goals to give the visitors a 4-0 halftime lead.
In the second half, Dominique Riforgiato and Emily Mackinnon each netted a goal.
Assists were tallied by Kirsta Wheelock, Zoya Katta, Valvo and Aleyna Szot.
Alex Zentz was the winning goalie with seven saves.
"We had a real strong showing all the way around," Cruver said. "We made a few adjustments and got off running after that. I was real happy with scrambling to the ball and wining the 50-50s."
Fredonia returns to action Tuesday at Maple Grove.
Frewsburg 5, Dunkirk 0
After taking a 2-0 lead into halftime, Frewsburg (3-0, 3-0) exploded for three second-half goals on the way to a 5-0 win over Dunkirk (1-3, 0-2) in a CCAA West League girls soccer matchup Thursday. Janeffa Annis scored all three of Frewsburg's goals in the second half to lead the Lady Bears to victory. Mackenzie Swartzman and Kaitlin Blanchard had one goal apiece in the first half for Frewsburg. Libby Hartley turned in a solid performance between the pipes and earned the shutout by making eight saves.
Silver Creek-Forestville 3, West Valley 0
West Valley - Silver Creek-Forestville (3-1, 2-0) jumped out to an early 1-0 lead and never looked back on its way to a 3-0 victory over West Valley (1-4, 0-2) in CCAA Central League girls soccer action Thursday. Hannah Seiders scored the opening goal in the first seven minutes for the Black Knights. The score remained 1-0 until the final 10 minutes of the contest when Silver Creek-Forestville added two more goals to break it open. Katie Dittiger and Emily Harford scored the final two goals in the victory. Jamie Hehir needed to make only two saves to earn the shutout. Silver Creek-Forestville outshot West Valley 23-2 in the victory.

Cassadaga Valley 0
Sinclairville - Pine Valley scored three goals in the first half and three goals in the second half to down Cassadaga Valley 6-0 in a CCAA Central League girls soccer matchup Thursday in Cassadaga. Jessica Wilcox and Monica Kenney led Pine Valley's offense with two goals each. Jamie Wilcox and Rebecca Butcher each added a goal in the win. All six goals by Pine Valley were unassisted. Elyssa Maze stopped 15 of 21 shots for Cassadaga Valley in the loss.
