JAMESTOWN - Southwestern raised its record to 4-0-2 as the Trojans shut out Fredonia, 3-0, Monday in CCAA West League boys high school soccer.
Andy Bell put Southwestern on the board at 22:56 of the first half for the 1-0 lead and in the second half, Tristan Desnerck found the net with Bell assisting at 60:48 and Tanner Hoose wrapped things up with a goal at 77:21.
Tyler Bell, Alex Bower, Pat Mogenhan and Sam Quattrone were defensive standouts as goalie Eric Priester made six saves for the Trojans to get the shutout.

Morghon Thompson had 11 saves for the Hillbillies (2-2).
SILVER CREEK - Despite having two starters out with the flu, Silver Creek-Forestville (2-2-1, 2-0-1) was able to defeat Cassadaga Valley 2-0 in CCAA Central League boys soccer action Monday. Derek Catalano opened the scoring for Silver Creek-Forestville early in the first half with a goal that was assisted by Nate Serio.
Later in the first half, Serio scored a goal of his own to widen the margin to 2-0, which proved to be the final score. Mike McCarthy assisted on Serio's goal.
"Our team is really starting to come together," said Silver Creek-Forestville coach Dan Foy. "The team's passing and teamwork are really picking up. We are starting to look really good."
Adam Klajbor recorded his first career shutout in goal for the Black Knights, stopping all 10 shots that he faced.
Silver Creek travels to North Collins Wednesday to face one of the top teams in the division.
