Get ready, the city's hot-in-place street restoration program for 2013 begins today.
A list of streets was provided by the Department of Public Works which stated the plan is to do the work in the listed order. Parking is prohibited on streets being worked on from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Work is expected to be completed in eight to 10 days, according to the DPW.
Streets to be paved are as follows: Brooks from Brigham to Nichols; West Chestnut from Beach westerly; West Chestnut from Frazier to West Point; West Chestnut from West Point to Perry; West Beach from Point Drive West to Chestnut; West Chestnut from Finch to Beach; West Chestnut from Perry to Finch; West Chestnut from Point Drive North to Frazier; Pelican from Third to Fourth; Swan from Fourth to Fifth; Eagle from Seventh to Lucas; Eagle from Sixth to Seventh and Eagle from Third to Fourth.
In addition: North Pangolin from Lake Shore Drive to Pine; South Pangolin from Middle to Lake Shore Drive; Fizell from Chestnut to Lake Shore Drive; Columbus from Fourth to Fifth; Columbus from Fifth to Sixth; Main from Norfolk Southern tracks to Newton; Lincoln from Courtney to DAV railroad; Lincoln from Benton to Tenney; Maple from Doughty to Benton; Nevins from Benton to Tenney; West Tenney from King to Lincoln; West Benton from Lincoln to King; West Benton from Ruggles to Lincoln and West Benton from King to Maple.
